Outline

The design for the Watersport Vereniging Zandvoort clubhouse focuses on integrating the structure with its natural surroundings and maximizing functionality for water sports activities. Located on the scenic Dutch coastline, the clubhouse is a two-story building with a footprint of 390 m² and a total area not exceeding 350 m².

The ground floor, designed as a solid base, accommodates all the necessary facilities for water sports, including storage areas for kites and sails, while the first floor, characterized by an open and transparent design, is dedicated to recreation.

The first floor also features a diagonal glass façade that offers panoramic views of the sea and a partly covered terrace, enhancing the visual and functional connection between the interior and the exterior.

The clubhouse is designed to be visually coherent with attention to roof design and unity in color and character.
